Diversity & Inclusion - Our Strength
At the heart of PSW's ethos lies the belief that diversity is our greatest asset. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every individual is valued, respected, and empowered to excel. This culture of belonging is more than a value, it is a catalyst for innovation and creativity, propelling us towards greater success.
Our DEI journey began with a comprehensive Gender Audit, which laid the foundation for embedding equity and inclusion into every aspect of our culture. Guided by its insights, we launched a company-wide journey of Building Inclusive Excellence, from leadership dialogues and focus groups, to DEI trainings and the certification of 20 DEI Ambassadors. Alongside this, we introduced equity-driven measures such as pay parity audits, the PSW Lady Leaders Lounge, enhanced parental leave benefits, and support programs like Day Care Allowance and the Mat2Work Transition Program to create a truly inclusive workplace.
Beyond our organization, our Gender Action Plan extends to the global trading community through initiatives like the PSW Women Helpline and Khadijah – The Women Entrepreneurship Program, enabling women entrepreneurs to thrive in cross-border trade. By aligning with the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles and publishing our Gender Action Plan reports, we remain transparent and accountable in driving lasting impact, both within PSW and across the broader trade ecosystem.
CSR Activities
World Environment Day - Tree Plantation Drive
PSW held a Tree Plantation Drive in Karachi, collaborating with WWF - Pakistan. This initiative enabled us to actively contribute to increasing Karachi’s green spaces and heightening environmental consciousness within our local community. By planting numerous trees, we aim to mitigate urban pollution, foster biodiversity, and create a healthier environment for future generations.

Ramzan Ration Packs Distribution
As part of this CSR, Ramzan Hampers were distributed to our dedicated support staff to express our appreciation for their vital role in the success of PSW.

International Women Day 2024
On International Women's Day 2024 PSW commemorated International Women's Day, honoring women's social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments worldwide. We believe that together, we can forge women's equality.

Diversity and Inclusion speaker sessions
The session focused on building a deeper understanding of the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace and its positive impact on company culture and performance. Participants were encouraged to consider factors such as unconscious bias and how individuals hold their own model of the world and engage in interactive discussions that promote empathy and open dialogue.

Wellness Wisdom Session
The Wellness Wisdom session enhanced employee well-being and shared valuable insights on cultivating healthy habits, stress management, and achieving work-life balance.

Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship 2023
PSW's Women Entrepreneurship Program engaged with inspiring keynote speakers, industry experts, and successful women entrepreneurs as they shared their insights, experiences, and strategies for success.

International Women Day 2023
PSW celebrated International Women's Day by empowering women to become leaders, innovators, and active participants in the digital revolution.

Khadijah Women Entrepreneurship Program 2022
PSW launched “Khadijah – The Women Entrepreneurship Program” as a component of the Gender Action Plan developed with the objective of enhancing the capacity of women in business and cross-border trade, supporting women’s entrepreneurship development, and motivating women to join international trade-related workforce and professions.

Flood Relief Drive
PSW organized a flood relief drive and digital campaign to support the 33 million+ flood victims of Pakistan. Through the campaign, PSW collected cash and kind donations which were given to Edhi Foundation and State Bank of Pakistan Flood Relief to support their ongoing efforts in this humanitarian crisis.

Breast Cancer Awareness
PSW took a step to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer and organized a session for the PSW female staff to educate them so they know and can spread the word.

Harassment Inquiry Committee Training Session
PSW conducted a Harassment Inquiry Committee Training Session to help its employees understand their roles and responsibilities in preventing and responding to workplace harassment.

Gender Audit and Gender Action Plan led by REMIT Pakistan
PSW conducted a gender audit led by REMIT Pakistan and developed a gender action plan to ensure a gender-balanced and women-friendly work environment that eliminates potential gender discrimination.

World Blood Donor Day
PSW organized a blood donation camp in honor of World Blood Donor Day 2022. PSW staff enthusiastically participated in the activity to support this noble cause.
