Overview

The PSW aims to facilitate the traders/customs agents with online applications for Import permits/Export Certificates (Phytosanitary certificates) by the DPP. Now the trader/customs can electronically perform document calling, inspection calling, and approval/rejection of Import Permit and Export Certificate requests. The Export Certificate request will be generated by the system at the time of submission of the Single Declaration (SD). The traders will not have to visit the DPP office and manually submit applications for the issuance of regulatory approvals. The processing of the application will be done online, where traders can have clear visibility of the action being performed.

Step By Step Guide to Process Import Permit With DPP

The PSW portal has separate sections for traders & custom agents to fill in the import permits for DPP. The procedure is as follows:

Go to PSW Portal > Login - Enter your login credentials

Go To User Dashboard > Traders/Custom Agents > New Import Permit Requests - In the user dashboard click on the ‘LPCO option.’ Here you will be able to create a new Import Permit by clicking on the ‘Create Import Permit’ button.

Fill-In Consignment Information - Add Consignment Information and click on the ‘Save & Proceed’ button.

Commodities > Commodities Searching > Save - Search and identify the specific commodity HS code and Product code by clicking on the ‘Search’ tab in the Product Code field.

Fill In the Document Information - Upload system required mandatory documents, using ITMS HS code and Product Code. *Note: The system will only display the documents which are required under the selected HS/Product Code

Verify Import Conditions > Submit Request - Here you can view the import conditions defined by the department. After the verification, you click on the ‘Submit’ Button. Upon submission, a PSID will be generated. Pay the import permit fee & save the request.

Step By Step Guide to Process Export Certificate With DPP

The PSW portal has separate sections for traders & custom agents to to export Certificates with DPP. The procedure is as follows:

Go To PSW Portal > Login - Enter your login credentials

Go To User Dashboard > Export Certificate - In the user dashboard click on the ‘LPCO option.’ Here you will be able to view existing export certificate requests which are under process.

Upload Called Documents - A notification will appear when the officer requests you (trader/custom agent) to submit any additional document. Upload the required documents.

Notification for Approval/Rejection of Export Permit - A notification will appear in your inbox notifying you about export certificate approval. Click on the ‘View Export Certificate’ button to view the document. *(In case of rejection, click on ‘View Export Certificate’ to view the rejected document along with officers’ remarks. You can request the Export certificate amendment, after filling in the required fields, and fees payment, you’ll be able to download the approved ‘Export Certificate’.

No. DPP is integrated with PSW, there will be no DPP office visits and manual submission of applications for the issuance of regulatory approvals. The processing of application will be done online.

You can request for Import Permit/Export Certificate online.

  • The trader/custom agent must be registered with PSW.
  • The trader/custom agent must have associated their bank profile with their business profile in PSW.

There is a real-time exchange of information/ documents with DPP through PSW system. This would be dependent on application processing at DPP provided all requisite formalities are fulfilled.

Every activity / process will be logged in the PSW system. The trader/ clearing agent and other will have a clear visibility of the action performed by DPP at each step.

There is a checklist of required (mandatory) documents by DP available on PSW system for respective service.

While submitting your request for required service, system will generate PSID. You can make the payment through that PSID online.

In case of any additional requirement/ document by DPP; DPP officer will raise the request through ‘Call Document’ functionality of the system. You will be notified through system generated notification. You can share /upload the requirement/ document online.

Yes. The applicant will be notified about rejection of the application through the system.

Export Certificate/ Import Permit is a system generated document provided on request which does not require signature. However, the document is Quick Response (QR) code enabled and can be validated/ verified online by the respective authority.

Only authorized users can view the information. PSW ensures the element of confidentiality with their users.
