PSW's Lab Management System (LMS) is a cutting-edge solution that offers traders and government officials real-time access to test reports and goods' compliance status. This system plays a crucial role in the risk management process for customs and other regulatory agencies. To further streamline operations and enhance efficiency, we are seamlessly integrating laboratories associated with DPP, PCSIR (Karachi), and AARI Faisalabad's GMO Testing Lab into our LMS.

PSW is proud to announce the successful integration with PSI companies, introducing state-of-the-art technology for the electronic processing of post-shipment inspection documents mandated by the Department of Plant Protection for specific commodity imports into Pakistan. By adopting this system, both PSW and PSI companies will benefit from reduced operating costs while enhancing transparency and regulatory control.

PSW’s MNC module facilitates electronic item registration, quota issuance, and Import and Export Permits issuance, all while adhering to the regulatory guidelines of the MNC. Through this advanced automation, relevant MNC officials now have seamless access to operational information, ensuring enhanced efficiency and visibility. This transformation streamlines the entire workflow, minimizing delays and errors and significantly improving the overall experience for all stakeholders.

The Drugs Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP)

PSW is now fully synchronized with the Drugs Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). With PSW's automated connection to DRAP, our primary goal is to expedite the registration and licensing procedures for medicines, alleviating administrative burdens and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements. This collaborative effort enables us to provide a more seamless and transparent experience for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and all stakeholders involved in the supply and distribution of medicines in Pakistan.

PSW has modernized the process of obtaining a Release Order for the import of second-hand vessels in Pakistan. The shift from paper-based documents to electronic versions ensures smoother operations and enhances the overall workflow, streamlining the import process and improving the experience for all stakeholders involved.

Connectivity with China Single Window (GACC)

Connectivity with China Single Window (GACC)

PSW is enabling seamless connectivity with the China Single Window, facilitating the exchange of trade-related data and documents in electronic format. This paperless data exchange between the Pak-China Single Windows shall mark a significant step towards revolutionizing data exchange processes, streamlining risk management, and expediting border clearance procedures. The enhanced connectivity will foster smoother international trade operations, benefiting businesses and governments alike.

Port Community System (PCS)

Port Community System (PCS)

Date of Completion: June 2024 - In Progress

Port Community System (PCS) aims to enhance maritime trade operations. This system will optimize cargo handling, significantly increases port operation efficiency, and effectively reduces time and costs associated with cross-border trade. The PCS will be facilitating intelligent and secure information exchange among various stakeholders, including both public and private sectors. This integrated data-sharing approach ensures improved regulatory compliance through a single submission of data, effectively connecting transport and logistics chains.

 
Sindh Excise Taxation & Narcotics Control

Sindh Excise Taxation & Narcotics Control

Date of Completion: Jun 2023 - Go Live

PSW has Integrated Sindh ET&NC Department with the PSW system and facilitated the automated submission of duties, taxes, and OGA charges, including Sindh Infrastructure Development CESS through Single Declaration (SD). PSW’s ET&NC module provides a reports generation facility for CESS collection.

DPP is now electronically integrated with the PSW system. The issuance of an Import Permit by DPP and the e-Phytosanitary certificate issued by DPP have also been deployed in the system.

SD- Export provides a harmonized set of data requirements to be prescribed so that for an export trade transaction the concerned actors are not obligated to submit the same data repeatedly to different agencies.

29 commercial banks dealing in international trade finance have been fully integrated with the PSW system. A total of 330,307 Financial Instruments have been received and the total consumed Import Financial Instruments have reached to 123,782 and 115,888 for Export by 29th Apr 2022.

Integration with Animal Quarantine Department: The OGA engagement session was held with AQD FP and officers from AQD. SRS Screens were displayed, and discussions were held on the SD filing and OGA-specific data elements. UMS training session held with AQD officials.

Access to WeBOC

Access to WeBOC

To have a smooth transition from the WeBOC system to PSW, the WeBOC software development team has been placed under the administrative control of PSW for coordinated software development. PSW will augment WeBOC’s existing team with additional resources and will also be working closely with the Directorate of Reforms & Automation Karachi for a smooth transition.

The establishment of a dedicated PSW Call Center is completed with the provision of UAN, support email configuration with the CRM ticketing system and social media integration of PSW’s Twitter and Facebook accounts.

The Single Declaration for Import (Home Consumption) has been completed and has been partially rolled out. After the deployment of complete features, the Trader/CA will be able to save & review item specifications and GD number will be allocated on SD import submission. PSW & WeBOC Team are in coordination to complete SD-Import (Home Consumption) module APIs to complete rollout.
