NextTech Internship Program: Empowering Future Tech Leaders through PSW’s CSR Vision

PSW launched the NextTech Internship Program, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Designed in collaboration with the NUST Professional Development Centre (PDC), the six-week program aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping young talent with practical skills in Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML), Cybersecurity, and Data Science.

The inaugural cohort of 10 students engaged in project-based learning, guided by PSW domain experts, gaining hands-on experience in real-world problem-solving, innovation, and PSW’s digital ecosystem, preparing them to contribute to Pakistan’s evolving digital landscape. Alongside technical training, the program featured an HR workshop on communication and professional development, where interns enhanced key workplace skills such as clear communication, confident participation in meetings, and positive body language.

At the closing ceremony, interns presented their final projects showcasing innovative solutions in emerging technologies, reflecting both technical excellence and an understanding of how innovation can advance digital trade transformation and social impact.

The program’s successful completion underscores PSW’s commitment to investing in youth and talent development as a driver of sustainable progress. Building on this success, PSW plans to expand NextTech in the coming years, continuing its mission to equip the next generation with the skills to lead in Pakistan’s technology-driven future.
