PSW and EDF Unite to Simplify Trade and Support Export Growth

PSW and the Export Development Fund (EDF) have joined forces to strengthen Pakistan’s export sector through a strategic collaboration aimed at streamlining support services for exporters. As part of this initiative, PSW has proposed waiving the export Goods Declaration (GD) fees, with EDF covering these costs through the Export Development Surcharge (EDS). This move will significantly reduce exporters' costs and promote digital inclusion, making PSW’s services more accessible to the export community.

Through this partnership, PSW will provide EDF with data-driven insights and digital tools, enabling more effective allocation of funds, forecasting, and reconciliation of receivables. The integration of data will also facilitate better identification of priority sectors and markets for export growth, ensuring that support is directed where it is most needed. Additionally, PSW’s extensive digital outreach capabilities will assist EDF in conducting capacity-building initiatives, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder engagement to enhance exporters' access to key resources.

This collaboration is expected to improve the ease of doing business for exporters, enhance EDF’s service delivery, and enable more informed policy decisions based on real-time trade data.
