Samir Amir is a seasoned business and policy expert with extensive experience in economic research, trade policy, academia, and international business. As Director Research at the Pakistan Business Council (PBC), he has played a key role in shaping policy dialogue on major economic and trade issues impacting Pakistan. He also serves as a visiting faculty member at IBA Karachi, where he has taught strategy, leadership, economics, and entrepreneurship for over two decades.

With a professional background spanning research, consulting, manufacturing, exports, and cross-border business collaboration, he brings deep expertise in policy development, private sector engagement, and economic competitiveness to the PSW Board.
